The over all picture appears volatile, disappointed investors,lack of jobs for the able and talented, sky roketting prices of the essential commodities, amongst all these the poor are getting hammered all the way down.
Wearing the vulture veils come out the breed called the politicians to feed on whatever is left of the socially drained.Its so ridiculous the major opposition called out a strike against the one in power in such times.It was so clear they never acieved anything from it,all they managed to do was to tighten the rope around the neck of a man to be hanged.
Clearly showing their contempt against common sense and overall wellness of the society.Also to understand that the strike was a convincing success in my native Kerala, acclaimed for its very literate population is extremely sad.
I wonder how different anyone else in Govt would have done from the existing one in handling the current scenario??
Better times are sure to be here,till then we will have to weather this storm of uncertain times.
These are the times we need men like Safdar Hashmi(inset pic) to educate the weak and the poor about the hypocratic political gimmics.

exactly bugga,the prevailing scenarios dont make much sense to me either;)
was trying to blame politics for all that is undesired in the society, hoping that the election season ushers us a new change for good.
Anush trying to impart some knowledge? A lot of things together are responsible for the lack of drastic improvement in our society. And you waiting for the elections? I mean for what? Changing groups won't solve anything unless we personally don't change our mindset. We citizens are also partially reponsible.. the voting is in our hand right? If we can't choose the right one.. no point in blaming it later..
yes the vote is in our hands,and we have done it many times.
For some strange reasons having power makes people blind...I hope this election bring in people who understand the current picture and work with their eyes open.
Politics in India is excellently summarized by this quote:"The worst thing about corruption as a method of governance is that it work so well"..Having said that, the change could only be brought about by us. After all we have all complained about corruption and bad governance long enough. I think long term change could be only brought about, if we set out to do so.
